In recent months, "Brother N" of a group that I will refer to in this document as the "Hotheads Outraged at Unsubservient Satanists Everywhere" ("H.O.U.S.E.") has been making a number of accusations against my friends Diane Vera and MizzCrowley. Some of these accusations include a claim that MizzCrowley is leading some kind of "cult," as well as a claim that Diane Vera and MizzCrowley were somehow responsible for the destruction of the H.O.U.S.E. website earlier this year (a claim for which N STILL has yet to produce any evidence). N has also claimed that Diane Vera is not really a Satanist; I guess he has never bothered to read anything on her Theistic Satanism website. I encourage my readers to visit MizzCrowley's Believe It or Not in order to read more about how absolutely foolish N's accusations are.

In August of 2005, Lillee Allee of the First Church of Satan specifically asked N to check the IP addresses of all the people who had logged on to his website, in order to prove that Diane had anything to do with its destruction. It has been an entire month by the time of this writing, and N has STILL not presented any such evidence! Instead, he has only continued to whine about how much he hates Diane. Hey N, can you say "innocent until PROVEN guilty?"

I have been working and corresponding with Diane ever since December of last year, and I can honestly say that I have never heard her say anything derogatory about N or anyone connected with him -- and not even in private conversation. She has often voiced disagreements with various people's ideas, but she has never, I repeat NEVER engaged in any personal mudslinging with other Satanist leaders, and anyone who claims to the contrary will be hard pressed to find some evidence of such. Apparently, some people have a bit of trouble differentiating between (1) the criticism of IDEAS and (2) the personal criticism of people. Diane has done plenty of number (1) (as well she should -- it's every Satanist's Devil-given right to disagree with other Satanists!), but she has never done number (2). Diane has always maintained a sober and even- tempered viewpoint when it comes to inter-Satanist politics. I have never heard her say anything nasty or bad about anyone. As a matter of fact, I don't believe she mentioned N at all until N started making the accusations. My question is, what documentable evidence is there that she has even remotely had anything to do with destroying the H.O.U.S.E. website? I can testify that Diane is not the sort of person to go running around, trying to get Satanist churches run off the scene.

I have also heard the claim made by N that Diane Vera has supposedly never practiced a ritual or had anything to do with Satan. That's a very easy accusation to make, considering that N lives halfway across the country from Diane and he does not even know her. Once again, I must ask for any documentable evidence that N may have which proves beyond a reasonable doubt that Diane Vera is not a Satanist. If there is no documentable evidence, then there can be no argument. Just from looking at the things that she writes, however, I think it's pretty safe to say that she is a Satanist.

Another thing I might point out is that there are a few Satanists out there who do not practice rituals, or at least not regularly. Would N say that such people are not Satanists simply for this reason? What makes the Satanist? Is it practicing rituals? Is it being an individual? Is it indulging in earthly pleasure? Is it thinking for yourself? Is it believing in Satan? Ask ten different Satanists and you'll get thirteen different answers.

What I want to know is, what gives N the right to attack Diane Vera despite all of what she's done? She has spent a great deal of her time writing various articles, all of which can be seen on her website, which have brought many people to Satanism. Not only that, but these articles have helped many people who were new to Satanism overcome their Christian programming. She also worked hard back when the "Revelations" TV show was being shown on NBC. Diane Vera actually stood in front of the NBC building in New York and handed out pamphlets to people, that she and I had both written, in an attempt to tell people that what the show was saying about Satanism wasn't factual in the least. And so far as I know, nobody else decided to put their ass on the line and stand in front of a public building and defend Satanism while that show was on the air. Did N?

N has also been attacking Diane for being involved in the S & M and vampire subcultures. I would like to know just WHY it is that being involved in either of these subcultures should be considered a crime. As a matter of fact, in one of the messages on his blog, N attacks both (1) Diane for her involvement in these subcultures, and (2) another Satanist leader for her involvement with Neo-Nazism. But afterwards, N wastes most of his breath yelling his head off about Diane. This makes N look incredibly daft. He is more concerned about a woman who once took an interest in S & M and the vampire subculture -- neither of which are inherently bad, immoral or criminal in and of themselves -- but he hardly says anything about the other woman's involvement with Nazism. This woman's involvement can be tied in with genocide; by supporting Nazism, she is supporting genocide. Neither the S & M nor the vampire subcultures favor any endorsement of genocide whatsoever. It seems awfully stupid of N to spend more of his time yelling about a woman who is not involved in anything that has to do with anything criminal (i.e., Diane Vera), while at the same time he skips over the woman who obviously supports racism and the brutal slaughter of six million Jews (i.e., the other Satanist leader). Not very capable of critical thinking, are you N?

N claims to have the "truth" about Satan and Satanism, and he claims that he is the one Satanist leader who is closest to "what Satan really wants." If N is such a "favorite" of Satan's, then why is it that Satan has not blessed him more? Why is it that Satan has allowed all of N's attempts to start a successful church to fail miserably? N has continually tried to get his church off the ground ever since the early 1990's, and has consistently failed every time. Why is it that Satan allows this to happen over and over again to N, and why is it that Satan allows all the people that N hates (including Diane) to be considerably more successful than himself? Don't strain your noodle on that one too long. The answer should be painfully obvious.

It would appear to me that N feels that the only way he can maintain any sort of following is by lashing out at others and defaming them. In the 1990's, he used to be obsessed with defaming the Church of Satan. Now that the theistic Satanist scene has grown significantly, N has become more recently obsessed with defaming some of the better-known theistic Satanist leaders. He seems to think that by defaming Diane Vera in particular, this will somehow make him look more respectable in the Satanist scene. All I can say is, I hope he realizes sooner than later that he's only making himself look more and more like an idiot.

I urge everyone in the Satanist scene to be skeptical of any and all accusations made by Satanist leaders (especially by the more hot-tempered ones) against any other Satanist leaders, given how competitive the Satanist scene is at this time.
