I'm the founder and coordinator of the New York City Satanists Discussion Group, also known as NYC Satanists, Luciferians, Dark Pagans, and LHP Occultists -- one of the very few Satanist groups, in NYC or anywhere else, that holds meetings open to the general public. The NYC Satanists Discussion Group welcomes Satanists, Luciferians, etc. of all law-abiding kinds, including both theistic and atheistic Satanists.

My Theistic Satanism blog, on Google Blogger, will be mainly about theistic Satanism and Satanism-related topics, whereas my other two blogs (on LiveJournal and on Wordpress.com) will address a wider range of topics of interest to Satanists, Pagans, occultists, and all who oppose the spread of both Christian and Muslim fanaticism.

I've been a Satanist since 1991 C.E. In the early-to-mid 1990's I had a column in an occult zine Abrasax. Since late 2002 I've had a website on Theistic Satanism, with several sub-sites including Against Satanic Panics.

These past several years, I've been running some local in-person groups that meet here in New York City. One is NYC Satanists, Luciferians, Dark Pagans, and LHP Occultists. I aim also to build the New York City proto-congregation of the Church of Azazel.

I've also begun to organize a political activist group, New Yorkers Against Religion-Based Bigotry, which aims to oppose the religious right wing (both Christian and Muslim) on many fronts. NYARBB will defend gay rights, women's rights, and the rights of nonmainstream religions and subcultures. It will oppose grand conspiracy ideology about "the "Illuminati," which is to Satanists, Pagans, occultists, atheists, humanists, etc. as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is to Jews. It will also oppose bigotry against Muslims (who should not all be assumed to be in favor of Islamic theocracy). And it will oppose religion-based bigotry on various other fronts as well. NYARBB has a blog here and a Meetup site here.
